Miami : The Fontainebleau
We spent an amazing Thanksgiving week at the Fontainebleau in Miami, FL with family! They are renowned for their spectacular service and it was evident why. The grounds were kept immaculately clean and there were friendly waiters and waitresses at every turn to help you or offer suggestions on where to eat/play.
On Thanksgiving night, all 35 family members had an incredible dinner at the infamous Joe's Stone Crab. The oysters, shrimp, and of course the stone crab were all the perfect Thanksgiving dinner for our large Cajun family. The majority of the week was spent eating at the fabulous restaurants in the resort. We grabbed a casual sushi lunch at Blade most days, and had some of the best steak and mac n' cheese I've ever had at their infamous restaurant, Stripsteak. All in all I would absolutely suggest all of the restaurants onsite! Also, if you're into delicious adult beverages I suggest you try the Watermelon vodka cocktail - super refreshing!
If you're interested in seeing more of the city than just the resort, I suggest taking a day trip into little Havana. It is a lively neighborhood in the city full of live music, dancing, and delicious Cuban food. We had a quick bite at the Ball and Chain while listening to upbeat Cuban tunes.
All in all it was a super relaxing trip. Let me know your favorite spots in Miami for my next trip :)
